There was a video doing the rounds of a Mistress taking her collared sub for a walk down a street and eventually a late night supermarket somewhere in England.
Late night pub revellers and motorists catcall them and toot their car horns to the smiling indifference of the mistress.
Inside the shop ...

Just loved wearing them. I remember a few compliments I got from girls when wearing it. They would say:"I love your raincoat. Where did you buy it?".
"I had a raincoat like yours, my sister had one too".
" A lady has just left the shop wearing the same raincoat as yours. She wears it everyday".

"I won't tell you again, put your rubber mac and wellis on you," Aunty Joan chided.

Those lovely buttery pvc yellow and navy canvas coats were so popular back then with girls and adults. Not many boys wore them perhaps because of the canary colouring and female looking style.

The last few weeks have bestowed upon rainwear lovers the complete opportunity to venture outdoors during a downpour without being stared at, ridiculed or treated with contempt.
What an opportunity to venture into a rainwear shop to purchase their favourite raincoat.

Who remembers the lovely soft yellow reversible raincoats from the 70s and 80s?
They were my favourite raincoat and I always wore the yellow pvc side outside. They had deep hoods and pockets and were great value.
I recently bought one on ebay and am ery happy with it.

I bought a lovely yellow reversible rainmac on Ebay. I love it. Have worn in the recent rain but also carried it while walking in dry weather.
I received some lovely comments from women.
