I hate getting my head wet and always cover it when out in the rain with a hat but preferably my satin sou'wester tightly fasted under my chin inhaling the lovely aroma of the rubber lining.

My mother always had a mackintosh and I loved the feel of the satin material and rubber lining which I''d fondle whenever possible. I had my own rubberlined cotton mac when I was ten and loved wearing it

You look lovely in your gorgeous raincoat and hat.

I just love the aroma when wearing a warm rubberlined mackintosh and well worn rubber wellies.

I quite agree.......the pleasure is most certainly in wearing a mac whether it be sbr, rubberlined , pvc or nylon
