Friday here was rainy much of the day with flooding predicted for the area. I was thrilled to see wellies of many types. For the first time in awhile tall boots were almost as popular as short Chelsea type. Of the tall boots Hunter boots were the most notable with very little notice of Kamik or Aigle or others.
I did see however multiple cases of unidentifiable cheaper looking tall wellies.
New theory- wellies aren’t the fashion item now in general society but when needed, ladies especially select them for use but won’t pay the fashion price. Possible?
