I grew up in the 60s, a time when a damn good spanking was not considered a crime. Six of the best was not uncommon for me from either parent. One of the more memorable occasions was when my much hated heavy gaberdin school mac was replaced by a shiny quilted dark blue hooded anorak. The same as Felicity Kendal wore in 'The Good life'.
