I have noticed in previous posts on this subject some similarities with me.
I too, the fetish of pvc raincoats is part of me. I need it and wouldn't want to change it for anything in the world.
I also have my raincoats stored with my other clothes. Sometimes I wear one for walking. I often wait until I'm sure it's going to rain to wear them, so that if they see me they don't ask themselves any questions.
I'm happy to be able to live my fetish and I don't know if I could find another fetish that gives me so much pleasure!

To maybe demonstrate my point, I had a breakdown about 15 years ago for a variety of reasons and I had to spend some time away from my family. When I got back I wanted to try to ‘reset’ myself and part of that was throwing out all the rainwear and cagoules that I had collected. It was my wife who told me not to….she told me not to deny a part of who you are. And she was quite right. Our fetishes are a part of us and what makes us. Some people have them and some don’t.
As long as we don’t hurt ourselves or others, it’s all good.

Your wife was right. I guess we have all felt guilty and tried to purge ourselves, it never works, it just makes us more unhappy. We have to accept and embrace that part of us and hope that others close to us can too.

It would maybe be easier with an another fetish but I really like my fetish for rubber rainwear, wellies, waders etc.
