New year rainwear resolutions. Lets hear yours!

Similar to Mason's to wear one of my plastic or nylon pacamacs in public when it rains, no excuses about feeling too self-conscious, and to report on this site any comments I receive, favourable or otherwise. Also to accept that at my age I really need to wear plastic pants or other waterproof underwear full-time including when sleeping. I've enough pairs now to do this, accumulated over some 20 years of plastic pants wearing so no excuse not to.

So far this month the New Year’s resolution is going well, set myself the challenge of wearing a cagoule or rainwear everyday this year. Has to be for more than 5 minutes. So far this month..

4. Blue peter storm zip up cagoule

6. Red kag in a bag o/h cagoule

Had some wet days at work or days where i have had to wear rainwear for various jobs and highlights were wearing my
New big kids puddle suit for 7-8 hrs a day for window cleaning and some jet washing at work. Absolutely brilliant and had lots of positive comments about what a good idea from colleagues!

Brilliant Annabell! I have also worn at least one cagoule every day so far this year and plan to continue. You are very lucky to be able to wear gear at work. How very exciting. Interesting that you have had some positive comments. What exactly do they say? Keep up the good work…

Oh that sounds delicious wearing a shiny rubber Mac and on top a nice red PVC Mac as well and forced to wear it around the house or even in the garden heaven

Cagoule,
All positive, mainly it looked like a kids puddle suit which of course it is a adult sized version of, ‘what a good idea! No need to take your jacket and trousers on and off’, ‘always wondered if they made those’ and ‘that looks properly waterproof’ were the main themes.
