I think they were my introduction to latex when they used to advertise in the national newspapers in late 60s, along with South Bucks Rainwear - if only I'd been brave enough to ask my parents to kit me out or my headmaster had taken up South Bucks offer of special terms for schools.

The boots were referred to as GoGo boots - a term I don't recall ever being used at the time and only came across later in US programmes?

I've got two pairs of (leather) boots coming from Fernando Berlin and they have refunded the EEC VAT, but say that in due course I should expect a bill from DHL for the UK VAT. Needless to say DHL aren't doing this for nothing and according to their website will charge 2 1/2% of the VAT with a ...
