Re: Bed and Breakfasts-Plastic mattress covers
Surprisingly, a few years ago I found Argos did a pretty good range of waterproof mattress covers.

Re: Blacked out faces!
I can see both sides of the story, Phil.
But, my feeling is that if you don't care about your own image being misused or recognised, how come you haven't supplied any sort of photo for your profile/avatar here on Rainwear Central?
Phil, once you've uploaded a face pic of any description ...

Re: Naked?
So far this poll's followed my prediction - I reckoned on a 60/40 split of those who'd gone out in just their waterproofs vs those who hadn't. Thanks to everyone who's voted so far - and 350 have viewed it in less than 3 days.

Re: Cold London
Last January was mild compared to the weather and snow we've just had (18 Dec 10) that's brought the country and all the airports to a standstill. It was minus 5.5c when I went out this morning. Oh well, a good excuse for extra layers of waterproofs.

Re: Naked?
I've gone out "naked" underneath my waterproofs many times; nobody knows what I'm (or not) wearing underneath because I wear my solid heavy yellow PVC rainpants and jacket over everything - usually just my plastic panties and smooth plastic rainpants & jacket from the Philippines underneath.

Naked?
It's been a while since I posted a poll. This went through my mind the other day...
As before, let's keep it fun, I appreciate you might have had footwear on.

The colour of rainwear
As I was sifting through my collection, I realised how much gear I had of yellow and orange tones.
We're all different, and clearly yellow and orange rainwear stokes my boat.
I was curious whether colour of rainwear was equally important to other members.
(Sorry there's a maximum on the number ...

How long have you liked rainwear or what got you started?
With a birthday round the corner, it got me thinking how long I've liked waterproof gear (for the curious, the answer's "most of my life/since a toddler").
