Re: Opinions on Polyurethane (PU) Rainwear?

Better than nothing, better than the creepy Gore-Tex etc stuff à la Jakob Wolfshaut (Jack Wolfskin), TNF, Mammut and however all the "outdoor" brands are named. It's much better to see people (more women than men) with the modern variations of the classic rainslicker/Friesennerz than soaked people ...

they are more shiny and more heavy. has another texture like a waxcoat
Very much agreed; It's not nearly in the same league as old Rukkas. Not everything is slick and shiny though - even PVC.

Opinions on Polyurethane (PU) Rainwear?

Personally, I enjoy it. Especially some of the modern Helly Hansen stuff. It has a nice rubbery feel, while still being quite soft and conformable. It's also very enjoyable to sleep in.

I've seen mixed opinions on it from other rainwear enthusiasts, so I'm curious where people stand... :?:

Re: Role Play (RP) / Collaborative Stories

Not at all, I bet we all like role play in rainwear of one sort or another, I know I do. One of my fantasies with my wife is that she is a spy and I capture her. She has to be heavily restrained so as not to escape, usually in her secret service regulation black PVC Mac. I have to torture her with ...

Role Play (RP) / Collaborative Stories

Hey all!

I've been hard-pressed to find any like-minded people when it comes to rainwear in other places, so I figured this would be the best place to ask.

If anybody's interested in role-playing or a collaborative story focused around rainwear (and bondage), I'd be happy to hear from you.

If ...

Keeping Warm

The first story I've written focused entirely on rainwear! Enjoy!

As the age-old saying goes, April showers bring May flowers. Unfortunately for Zoe Harris, the springtime storms that ravaged her area made the promised May flowers little more than a pathetic consolation prize. She lived in a ...

Old FetishRainwear Content

Does anyone know if it's still possible to access all the content, specifically the videos, from the old FetishRainwear site? It went down a number of years back, and I haven't been able to find anything since.

Thanks!

Re: Farmerrain Gear

Thanks for the replies, everyone! Unfortunately, due to the Coronavirus, my financial situation Is such that I can't spend $300-400 on rainwear. That being said, should this situation clear, I'll definitely be buying myself a suit!

Re: Wippette Blue Full Length Mac

Interesting... I have a coat identical to this one with the exception of it being black. The tag also says 'Totes' instead of 'Wippette.'

Farmerrain Gear

Hi all!

I've been interested in a Farmerrain suit for a while now. Unfortunately, they're quite expensive. Before I go and spend $350-400 on brand new rainwear, I was wondering if some kind folks who own Farmerrain gear could let me know if it's worth the price?

Thanks!!
