I'm approaching 51 years of age and I don't remember not being excited by wellington boots! Even at a very young age I experienced pleasing sensations when I pulled on a pair of wellies.

Rubber boots or waders are essential for me, then a raincoat and long rubber gloves. I will be naked beneath these items, of course!
