Going mudding tomorrow (Aug 8th 2026) for the first time in the woods for real. Any advice for what to bring? Besides the rainwear and a gas mask of course. Anything you could think of that you wish you knew for the first time?

They have been made in china for well over a decade now, this isnt anything new. The quality has been about the same since. As good as the original? No. But serviceable. My wife has many pairs bought over the last 5 years and none have leaked yet. They just don't do well in snow lol

Love my HH Nusfjrod suits. Just no ruber like it. Makes a great outer layer. Sad they stopped making them.

I think hunter is paying influencers to promote their boots intime for Fall/Winter holidays. I've seen the blitz of posts myself and thought the same thing. Lots of female fashion accounts with 5,000-20,000 followers all of the sudden posting from farms and festivals with an emphasis on the boots ...

For me it has to be Helly Hansens Nusfjord (?) or Guy Cotton. They are both nice and thick and make great outer layers for mud.
