I was watching this movie on TV the other night and saw that there's a scene in which one of the main characters wears a blue rain suit as they depart to look for the shark. It's a pretty quick scene and afterwards on the boat the person wears only the rain pants.

It seems the Capt. asked him if he brought his "rubbers" as he was boarding the boat?

Re-watching the clip I did notice the suit he is wearing is not rubber at all but possibly nylon???

I believe Roy Scheider also wears rubber boots with his 'rubbers', as Robert Shaw calls them.
