Just found 'It Always Rains on Sunday' (1947)

A monochrome low key drama of the time in which two women wear plastic macs at intervals through the film.

This a very good film for its time. Susan Shaw and Patricia Plunkett in their macs have been well known to rainwear enthusiasts for some time now.

Can you post the link you used to download "it always rains on Sunday" please. I've tried googling and I can only get short clips that don't show the macs.

I thought everybody had seen this famous scene by now! The clip containing Susan Shaw in the record shop was on you-tube for some while but seems to have been taken down.

The scene is in my top five all time favourites but this one from 'The Human Comedy' is probably my number one.
