Good morning Ray

I have seen the top one somewhere the Raindot raincoats.

The other two are new ones.
The last clip I think is someone spraying water from a hose or a sprinkler. As when I take the video camera out I very rarely am able to get the definition of the rain like that.

Only been able to capture rain fall on stills photos once and then you have to enlarge it to see grey streaks in the sky.
Wish I could!

Best wishes

I love the Raindot video

Ive never managed to get any decent results from shooting in the rain and the 3rd video is definately a 'set-up' but very nice too

I now cheat too when rain is needed!

From his/her face book page

and translation!

The whole cover of body fully block the rain. It`s designed for the cycling population. Wearing in different types to face with various situations. Attributed to the fast put on/off process, it`s hard to wet yourself in a rainy day.

Last sentence may not have been translated correctly!

It is well known that it is extremely difficult to film or photograph rain. That is why all the big film studios used massive 'rain sprinklers' to re-create rain. It can be done, but it requires serendipitous lighting. Spraying from hoses just doesn't look convincing. Neither does a fake rain overlay effect.

Mmmm
Someone told me hold a watering can with a narrow head on it!

Yes video overlay is better but as you do say again not convincing.
