New Sightings ?

No better place to observe plastic rainwear than a football game. Here in the Northwest we've had two games where it rained cats and dogs. First one had marching bands swathed in poncho's. Last night's game had cheerleaders from all over performing their acts at halftime decked out in their clear pvc rain jackets. Not just one or two, but the entire entourage. Hmm. wonder what impressions were made? In the meantime I stayed warm and dry underneath a robust frosty clear pvc poncho of my own. Many other types of plastic in the stands as well.

I seem to remember that Rukka had their UK office in Hampton, so the lady might have been an ex employee. Even though it was mainly an office they always had a display of outfits in the window. I used to live near there in the 80's so would often take the trouble to cycle that way.
Most of the time it was motorbike suits or sailing waterproofs, but occasionally a colourful shiny ladies mac would make an appearance.

Another sighting yesterday, I was driving through Thames Ditton, Surrey when I saw a lovely blonde haired lady sitting at a bus stop in a beautifully liquorice black shiny mac. It was so nice, I had to go passed twice!! Wish I'd had the Camera!
