You can indeed - checked them out earlier today. Not a bad price at all (£30 to £32) and available in red and black. Not really the style of mac I like though - prefer the button up ones or the ones that do up with press-studs.

I’m fascinated to see so many female singers coming on stage or being on video wearing plastic raincoats. The earliest I can remember was Petula Clark (omg that dares me) but I recall seeing so many over the years, particularly in black. TheGerman singer Blumen seems to make it her USP. I’m not complaining, oh no, but just curious. Are they deliberately appealing to us on this forum, or are they shiny mac enthusiasts like us?

I don't think they are "deliberately appealing to us on this forum"! They may well be shiny mac enthusiasts but somehow I doubt it. I think it's just a visual thing really - the striking look that catches the eye and all that....
