I'm not so sure about the "thin" comment. If you click on the link that Spitfire has put up (the post immediately above yours) and scroll down below the 4 pics - then click on 'VIDEO'. It gives you get really good views of the mac. I actually think that the material looks quite thick from the views of it in the vid.
