Alister Firth Photography

Post by Metalfarmer09 »

Hi. I have seen some of his photos on this forum. He had many pics of women and TV's in rainwear. I don't know if any of you knew him but he has passed away earlier this week. I often spoke to him and shared many of his pics and stories of meeting Janetandnick. I am sure someone would of known him in here. I felt I should pass it on.

Never had any contact with this man, but I do remember his photo's on this forum when I first joined. From the newspaper clip that you have shown he was evidently a character who was very highly thought of in the wider world.

Sad news.
I chatted to him on here and also Fetlife where he previously had an account and posted some great rainwear photos.
On here he was " Bossali"
Thanks for letting us know
Broad minded enough to acknowledge we all enjoy different things:)

Oh wow, that was sudden. We used to chat on various websites, most recently Instagram. He messaged me last week and I replied, but didn't hear back. Such a shock and very young really.

It is indeed very sad news. I had some photos taken by him a few years back on a couple of occasions. I actually met him through this site. He was undoubtedly a fabulous photographer with a very good manner and a true gentleman. I did however experience a different side of him. He could be a bit of a scamp too but - hey - no one is perfect. I have some good memories of him. RIP Alister.

Oh that’s a shock.
I met Alistair around 2010. He was a very good photographer. I gave him two nice pvc macs and rainmate.
He used them in his photoshoots. The girls looked fabulous, mind you not sure where I stored them.
Sad news indeed RIP.
