Welcome RainyJane. Hope you find the macs you are looking for. I happened to be in Cornwall on Sunday afternoon when it was chucking it down with rain - lucky for me I had my trusty red Plastico mac with me. My wife only had a thin nylon jacket to use and got soaked through - seems she just won't see the benefits of a good raincoat.

Hello and welcome Rainyjane.
You are certainly getting a good share of wet weather down where you are. I spent a few years over the border in Plymouth and it is always raining there !

I've been down to Devon for a week and it was great to see lots of people wearing 'practical' clothing. Up north, no-one seems to care anymore about getting cold and wet which is a big shame... As much as I enjoy mixing styles, nothing can beat the feeling of being down here and not being afraid to wear my wellies and rain jacket :)

Welcome Jane, from experience the sun does shine in Cornwall BUT you will have plenty of time to wear a mac

I still remember an extremely wet week camping in Cornwall. By the end of it even the attraction of wearing rainwear was wearing abit thin. Never been camping since and never been to Cornwall again either

There's a fair chance that the photographer may beat you to it lol

I'm familiar with PVC-u-Like; might well get one from them :)
That is what I meant you get the photos done and put them on here!
