Mac in a Sac

Post by antcagoule »

Hi. Does anyone have a Mac in a Sac? I think I want one but can’t decide. Is the material nice? I wonder how they compare with Regatta, Peter Storm, Mountain Warehouse etc.?

Not as waterproof as regata and a nice old Peter storm as they used to be .but nice nylon swishy sound as you move around in the jacket and leggings. And do feel lovely on your naked body when nice and wet

I love mac in a sac…. Especially the yellow ones. Worn with the hood tied tight around the face.

My Cotton Traders one isn't lined, has a shiny inner.

It does have some of that net type material on the inside shoulder area

I wasn’t aware that Cotton Traders did such things, I thought it was all… well…. Er…. cotton!

I guess what you mean is the material has a shiny coating on the inside, not a separate lining material? Sounds very much like my Peter Storm. Just adore the shiny inside (let’s not call it a lining) on bare skin.

My Mac in A Sac must be at least 10 years old - don't know if CT do them now
They do lots of outdoor wear that is none Cotton - the Cotton bit is named after the guy who set the business up I believe - Fran Cotton the Rugby Union Player

Yes the in side is shiny as you describe , and has a mesh type liner over shoulder areas.
It has poopers and a zip
And yes feels adorable when worn nake next to the skin , or even in T shirt and shorts
