'Die Kette' (German TV Mini-Series from 1977). Beatrice Richter carries and wears a long shiny gold raincoat in parts 1 and 2 of the series. I'm not sure what the raincoat is made of - most probably PU. Whatever it's made of, she looks very nice in it!

I don’t think it is PU or PVC. Most likely a brushed cotton that looks super smooth and slippery, but feels like cotton to the touch. I think it is a house coat. Whatever it is and is made of it is gorgeous! Lovely find. Spent ages stopping and rewinding to get an idea of what is was and what is was made of - well somebody had to!

Yeah, that idea did cross my mind but then I thought why would she be carrying a house coat in a restaurant - and with a matching shoulder bag? In the scene where she leaves the house she also picks up her matching shoulder bag. Why would you want to go out in a house coat with a matching bag? More questions than answers here!
