I first discovered transparent blue laundry bags as a schoolboy, I would tape 3 together lengthwise. slit the bottoms of the top 2 and climb in and get into bed. On occasion I would put them on headfirst, though I became a lot more cautious about doing that after a near miss in escaping as the plastic stuck to my body.

Plastic85, each one of us here on this site have different tastes. But I share yours for"simple" plastic. Like others, I do not know where my desire came from. But I had 3 things occur within a year of each other that confirmed what I liked. At age 14 or 15, it's a blur, on my bus route was a nice gal, who one day was wearing a transparent green jelly jacket. She sat next to me like she did many times. I was wearing short sleeves. She would lean into me to talk, and that raincoat touched my arms. I was about out of my mind. And she knew it. I had seen some girls at school wear these before, and I was transfixed. My two older sisters each had a jelly jacket raincoat, but they were kept in their bedroom closets, so I could never see or touch them.
Then a few months later I was babysitting for my neighbors. I was in demand at that time in my neighborhood. These were easy kids and went to bed on time. I was poking around the house, in the basement. The dad had a reasonable workshop, I turned on the light, and here at on end he had several Playboy calendars hanging. One of them had a gal in a clear transparent raincoat. Swchwing! Only 5 feet away was a horizontal pipe used for storing jackets. A few of the jackets were in clear dry cleaner bags. But at the far end were about 10 hangers, with the plastic bags, but no jackets. I hurriedly took one of them off its hanger, and pulled my pants down. The texture of those bags was totally smooth. Being 15, it took me 55 seconds. I have never forgotten that day. I stuffed the bag in my pants and tried to act normal when the parents came home. I used that bag a few more times at home, but they get wrinkly fast. I needed smooth. Well, in our town, we had a dry cleaners. One night I went dumpster diving and found maybe 10 bags on the spool yet. I carefully took them off and got them home. We had a shop building behind the house that I had started to repair cars with. My dad never went out there. It had a smallish office that faced the house. I spent a lot of time there. And then, one day, leaving the house, my two sisters had cleaned their closets and a green see through and a red see through jelly jacket were laying on top of the trash can. They made their back to my office. And that is why to this day, I love the see through Jelly jackets. They were too small for me to wear, so I out the one arm of each on my arms. Had those till they fell apart.

A lot of folks on this forum love nylon jackets. Does nothing for me. Nor does leather. But I understand 100% that they will trigger others. I still use plastic sheets in the bedroom. My wife is 100% into the plastic and raincoats. She is fussy in they have to be see through and thin and soft. She cannot climax without a plastic raincoat or plastic sheeting. The plastic sheeting itslef has to be thin, and totally smooth and clear. Nothing else "works".

So you are in some good company. Whatever makes your partner feels good, and then you. I've enjoyed my "desire" over the years, and will continue to.

I'll have more later.

Dave62, your story is fascinating and reminds me of my youth.

I have a question: do you think latex clothing looks a lot like a smooth, shiny plastic bag?

In my early 20s, short of money and living in a bedsitter I would buy large black plastic bags, cut the bottom corners off and put my legs through and hoist them up to my neck, tie the top round my neck and sleep in them after rubbing myself off in them for relief.

Just bought a new vacuum storage bag that is just big enough for me to climb inside and slide the seal across from the inside. its such a great feeling against the skin when the plastic starts to contract and get very sweaty.
