I post it here, because I couldn`t upload a photo in the discussion....

We were not buying shoes but had also a day in complete rain gear among other people....

Last Saturday we, my wife and I, were in our second home in Cologne. It was stormy we had heavy showers from time to time. The Rhine had high tide and the food paths next to the Rhine were flooded. We live outside the center and near the Rhine and planed a hiking trip along to the Rhine. I decide for black rubber boots and Goretex trousers and Jacket. My wife thought it is the right time to test the new yellow Ocean bib pants, together with the "Friesennerz" and yellow rubber boots. Yes, she is wearing this kind of things for me, because I like her in rainwear....
We had a nice long walk and were happy that our boots are so high. We were able to use some flooded parts of paths were the other people had made long detours. The time was running and we didn't watched the clock.....
In the evening we had appointment with friends in the center of the city. We had to use the tram to the center and no time to went home at first for changing the outfit. Ok we are familiar that people are looking at us... she is half African half Europe, very pretty and 10cm taller as I.... . I'm sure that the bib pants were the eye catcher, they have a horrible shape, much to short and much to wide. Very often I like it when the people looking on us, when she is wearing her SBR , white PVC-U-Like coat and Hat or a see through Cape etc., but this time it was more a gawp and scoff.
After a very nice evening we started at 11:30 at night and it was the first time in my life I asked my wife NOT to wear nice rubber and rainwear  .
The last shower was in th afternoon and we had no clouds.... but it was very windy and cold, to cold for her not to wear the trousers.
OK we started, and were among all the young and old party people, the first tram was very crowded and too late, than we had to wait half an hour for connecting tram home and had walk around in one of the main party districts of Cologne to get not too cold. Due to the gawp and scoff I felt very uncomfortable and it was the first time I was not turned on when we cuddled and kissed in the tram. I was very impressed how cool and relaxed my wife was all the time...... Yeap I really love her :D

If someone has a idea for a yellow rubber trouser, longer, narrower, and better matching yellow (for Jeantex Frisennerz), please let me know....
I wish you all some more nice rain this January

Very nice story!! You're very lucky to have such a willing and understanding wife who will wear something like this so publicly: I'm not surprised that people stared though - rainwear like yours (especially her great all-yellow-outfit) certainly would stand out a little in a party/nightclub district. Had it been anywhere else, hardly anyone would've bothered spare either of you a glance, much less look twice. I know i would've felt uncomfortable in a similar situation too. Was it raining at the time as well?

I have also worn an exactly similar rainy-day combo to Safeway and I hardly received any strange looks; however, it was raining heavily each time and I think people just assumed that I was a courier or motorbike rider.

Hi Mason,
No, we had the last rain 7 hours ago, it was dry, no clouds, moonshine, but it was stormy and very cold... to cold for her to wear only the Jeans.
I think the party poeple had completely forgot that it rained earlier.., so they looked like we are from an other star.

Some years ago I had a girlfriend who liked it to wear Klepper cape or coat or PVC-coat with nothing under it, if it was not to cold or to warm. Most times I had a rucksack with me, with some „normal“ cloth for her, but not this Sunday in July. It was pouring the whole day and in the afternoon we were in the mood to have some fun and icecream. She wore only rubber shoes and a nice red PVC mac, I bought her in the USA . We took the car and drove to the „Kudamm“ the touristik center of (west) Berln. It was not easy to find a parking place and we had to walk a longer while to get to the „Häagen Dazs“ . Bevor we arrived it suddenly stoped to rain and the sun got out. Within some minutes it was hot with high humidity. It was a long queue and as I got out with the icecream, she was sweating. It wa not possible to find a shade. The coat was wet inside and started to stick at her skin more and more and at these places the material was more or less see through…
We tried to go faster back to the car but as faster as more sweat… It was our luck, that it was very crowded, the people had many other people to watch and we got lost in the crowd a bit. This time the taste of the icecream was much bader as normal…..
