How credible is Albi's tale on Lorraine's site, do we think?

Who knows how reliable this or any of the other stories are?
The skill is to make them sound credible.
This one is a good read anyway.

Yes, it is rather well written. Very much the work of a true rubberist growing up in the 'good old rubber days', I would guess. Brings back memories for me, certainly. And makes me rather horny!

Found Albi's stories - all of them, well written & obviously based in times gone by (50's / 60's)
Shame he doesn't do an up date of what he is up to now

Yes, very 50s 60s I would agree. I have tried to contact Albi via Lorraine, am still waiting for a reply. Interesting to think that back then just about every house with kids had the red rubber bed sheets and pants for the bedwetters. What happened to these rubbers I wonder? Though I know of a chap in Holland who has a vast collection of this material!

Was born in 1954 - cannot ever remember wearing rubbers - maybe I was a well behaved little boy?
Certainly cannot remember having a rubber sheet - that would stick in my memory
I can remember most things from about 4 yo so either of these two if I had worn / used would have been memorable
