Oh to be young again! I may have been there in the heyday of the plastic mac back in the middle of the last century but sadly I was on my own and at the time probably considered myself to be 'weird'. The generations today have so much information to hand like this forum to enjoy life whatever their kink.
I'm still trying to figure out how a mobile phone works and what's this thing called breakfast or something they keep going on about!

I am nearly 58 years old and enjoy my PVC, it just takes a bit longer to get the clothing on/off than it used to do, now being less mobile. Alas old age comes to us all, eventually!!!

Well, I am 70 and a half. and lucky to have experienced the see-through plastic macs of the 1950's, early 1960's, late 1970's and early 1980's. Anyone 30 or under would have been born 1988 or later. By then plastic and most other types of rainwear had disappeared from the high street. So, I assume that it is very unlikely that anyone 30 or under would have encountered much in the way of decent rainwear apart from those ghastly useless polythene ponchos that people to seem to wear once and then throw away. What does turn 30 year olds on ? Wet, bedraggled hair ? Rain soaked T-shirts or jeans ? Oh well, each to their own.

I think it shows the demographic of the forum more than taking away from the point of the thread, I'm sure if the people the thread was aimed at were here thay would have posted!
