How lucky you are! Here in France still no rain. My raincoats remain hopelessly dry. I look forward to a good walk under the rain dressed only in pvc clothes and raincoats or raincape

Here in the Netherlands the rain is falling not direct at the coast ,but 20-30 Km,s from there.
So here ,at the coast ,I see dark clouds ,and half a drop of rain sometimes.

had an almighty shower for about ten minutes which turned the road into a river briefly and that was it, by the time I went out the sun was shining again

Like many parts of the country...particularly as you move down south there has been no noticeable rain since late March...not even the April Showers...not even enough too "dampen the dust"
But we got a few dull days and if I had need to go out then on with my lightweight nylon mac
I agree it is nice to go out ......the rain a welcome sight if only a reason too wear a mac but if we wait for a wet day we could wait all summer
I can"t wait that long so like this morning ...a cloudy morning...dry ....so a walk to the shops......in my nylon mac and when I got home changed into my long plastic mac...it has been a great day

Last night the rain returned in the form of lightning or heavy rain.
I was ready putting on my jeans and polo shirt from pvc pvc-u-like made of black shiny pvc foil, my riding boots in black PVC.
As soon as the gates opened

I put on my raincoat in shiny black and thick PVC-u-like, my black rubber gloves and I went out for a walk of about one hour in the rain. Is was very good with the sounds of the drops on the hood. At the beginning I was dry inside but as soon as the time spent I was also wet inside due to the sweat.
About an hour after I returned home and as the rain had not stopped I came out for another walk of about half an hour this time wearing my green pvc raincape from April Rain.
I love wearing a cape. Hands under the cape are free and nobody can see what happens.

With the raincapes I'm still a little shy and I wear the cape only at night or during the day in the woods while I wear my pvc raincoats in town for all occasions.
When I came back home the inside of my pvc jean was to be seriously cleaned.
It was a wonderful evening except that I was alone and I would had love sharing this walk with a partner also wearing raincoats or raincapes

Well...they forecast rain here in the South East for late afternoon on Monday but as the afternoon wore on the dark clouds were seen to be approaching but this had happened before
Heavy clouds but no rain but yesterday we experienced what all us Rainwear enthusiasts had seen the lack of for so long
I was tempted....should I put on my mac if only too head off down the garden....I had no real reason too head to the garden but the rain and the very thought of the sound of it on a mac got the better of me
I bought a unisex Double Breasted Plastic/PVC a couple of months ago and up to now it has not been given an outing outdoors although a few wearings indoors
So there I was...walking down the garden in my mac and the sound of the rain on it...hard too describe...
OK...to the average person it is just a mac to be worn in the rain by someone who wants too stay dry but me....slightly different thoughts
The nice thing about my garden is once I am down there no one can see me so there I was just standing there...it was raining harder than I had expected and for just a short period I was in my element
The mac has no hood so thinking ahead before I left my flat I took my plastic rainhat with me...and this really made it a worthwhile trip to the garden
How long before we experience anymore rain like this...your guess is as good as mine
This morning it really looks nice...blue skies...the sun is out but surprisingly a nip in the air so I think it will be an outing for my nylon mac when I head out which brings us to the subject...why does it have too rain before we slip on a mac
And as been suggested a walk in the rain with another mac enthusiast gives it a whole new meaning

It looks as though we may get some rain in the Midlands this Saturday. Any other mac lovers fancy meeting up within an hour or so of Birmingham for a walk together in our rainwear?

I love rain.
It's not often that it's raining where I live and also that I can go out in the rain. Last night I could finally put on my rain gear again and go for a stroll in the rain gear. I wore rubber boots, dark blue rain pants with bibs, dark blue rain jacket without a fixed hood and yellow southwest. A few weeks ago, I used a bright blue southwest, when I took a rainy walk. I also have a white south southwest, a red southwest and a pink southwest. I hope to soon get a chance to use them outdoors, when I go for a walk.

Indeed a sight too behold...seeing you in all that rain gear
Here in the South East no noticeable rain since March,...that is until two weeks ago when much needed rain was in evidence and still we are getting days when it has rained
Not that I am complaining...love too see the weather forecast and they say possibility of rain
So if I leave home...looking dry and sunny I always put my foldup mac in my bag....just in case and I suppose hoping it is going too rain
Even if no rain but looking a bit unsettled I wear the mac just in case....good job no one can read my mind...my thoughts of sheer pleassure as I put my hands in the pockets and feel the material

I love to wash the car when it rains.
Now, given the chance again, to put on my rain gear. I took the opportunity to wash the car, as I have been facing the street, while there was a long rain. I wash my new car any time, when it rains. I wore rubber boots, rain pants, rain jacket, north and sleeve guards, all in mörblå paint, then I also had on my yellow household gloves. I love to wash the car when it rains.
