I parked a little way from there and put on my nylon raincoat and walked the last bit. The nylon coat was open and flapping in the wind. It was a really nice feeling of nylon on my arms and the sound of nylon when you moved. No one looked after me (I think) because I was wearing a raincoat in sunny weather.
It’s a lovely feeling with nylon on bare skin and the sound of nylon is so exciting. When I am out in our summer house , I often go out on the sea in my kayak. Most of the time , I have a red thin nylon rainwear on in the kayak. Water is dripping from the paddel and sometimes its spraying when crossing waves. So lovely to feel the nylon on bare skin when moving in the rainwear and the sound is amazing.

Am I the only rainwear lover who likes the cold? There are a lot who like to get hot and sweaty in their macs or waterproofs, but I love the feeling of the cold rubber-lining or smooth PVC/plastic sliding and brushing over my warm bare skin as I slide on a raincoat. Then with every twist or turn or any movement the cold smooth soft fabric provides a wonderful 'all over' sensation against my sensitive bare skin - a marvelous turn on.

I like to be out in the cold when it's raining, I remember once I had on a two piece nylon suit in black, i went out in the evening one day when it was cold and raining, I was out for about two hours and while I was moving around it wasn't that bad but when I began stopping for what ever reason I started to get cold and then I could feel every raindrop hitting me, I finally returned home and because I was only wearing my rainwear i ran a hotish bath and got in rainwear and all and layed in the water until I warmed up, great experience.

Such a great feeling. Can I ask what your nylon raincoat looks like? What do you think you would have done if the shoemaker would have asked about the raincoat?
Hello and thank you for the question.
It was a dark blue Italian Lilion nylon raincoat I was wearing. I have a few pieces of this brand.
Why would the shoemaker or anyone else ask about my raincoat? If someone had asked why I was wearing a raincoat, I would have said as it is, that it is because it is a light and windproof coat and comfortable to wear. If someone wanted to ask about my nylon raincoat, maybe it is because they themselves have a love for raincoats??? ;)
I wear one of my nylon raincoats almost daily. :)
So I have seen those Lilion nylon raincoats on eBay. Are they any good? Are the nice and thin or a heavier nylon?

There is something special about a cold smooth surface. I prefer rubber-lined rainwear but I have always enjoyed PVC as well and I've recently bought some lovely rubbery macs from PVC-u-Like.
