I live in Copenhagen, capitol of Denmark and I would say that yes the more new style of raincoats (Danefae etc - see links),
is very common on a rainy day and there are a LOT of girls wearing Hunter and other fashion rubberboots everywhere. However, the oldfashioned pvc / rubber rainwear is a pretty rare sight. It happens, but not very often (like on regnfrakker.dk).

Yes, but on the plus-side you guys are able to focus more on paying attention in traffic.
It is a little dangerous to have all those beautiful danish women, walking around in rainwear and rubberboots :-)

Just means parking the car and walking, then enjoy the scenery
