arrived this morning, delivered to work so glad to be home to unwrap my purchase and have to say I am delighted with it. Its the kind of coat that can be worn out when the weather turns wet, not that it is likely to see much use any time soon as we seem to be in a very dry spell at the moment. Well worth the money

Yes it is good.
Not rubber though.
Unless my definition is different?

agree its not rubber, even has that pvc smell to it but nevertheless was well worth 12 pounds of my money, would do well to do better at the money, plus as its the kind of coat that can be worn out on a wet day makes it even better

Yes definitely a bargain at £12
Shusshh do not say increase the price lol lol!
As I said I have the green one too but that came from a different place.
That was only£7 plus postage!
Different fastening around the neck on that.

well I decided I like it so much that i have ordered a nother one to keep in the cupboard as a spare for when this one wears out as the opportunity will probably not arise again, I wish I had thought ahead years ago, so many bargains around then and it never occurred to me that they wuldnt be around forever

Today I received my Swedish Army PVC mac and its completely unwearable! The interior PVC coating is beginning to break down leaving it feeling very tacky and sticky, and the residue also sticks to your hands and clothes, is there anything this can be treated with to restore the smooth surface? or is my tenner down the drain?

surprised at that, seems you are unlucky if it was the same one we have bought, have two and they are brilliant, perhaps go back to the company and get a refund or exchange because seems you have a bad one. You have to remember these are old stock (I guess) so some items may have problems. I dont think the sellers are deliberately trying to rip anyone off (although I have no proof of this)

I am so sick of ebay now, this is just the latest piece of bad luck, someone bought 10 of the items I sold last weekend and hasn't bothered to pay for them, that's £208.10 I'm down and it's caused no end of problems for me, I'm so sick of the whole ebay experience right now.

Hi Rainy Dee sorry to hear about your bad experience with eBay it seems they are getting worse by the day
However they have been plastering the website with this lately:
"You're in safe hands when you shop on eBay.
In most cases, eBay transactions go through with no problems at all. But we've put safeguards in place to make sure that if anything does go wrong, you will get the item you wanted or your money refunded in full, including postage"
It might be worth contacting the seller first but if you get no joy then see if eBay keep the above promise
A buyer recently told me she wanted to return an item because it wasnt as warm as it looked in the picture - I said no
She then decided that she'd got mixed up between US and UK sizes and wanted to return it - I said no because Id but the exact measurements on the listing
This is typical of the everyday hassle on eBay these days and thats if you're lucky enough to get paid in the first place

I take it you fell victim to sjvaughan2013 as well. Seems he/she/it has a habit of doing that. Why ebay dont ban people who continually behave like that is beyond me.
Hopefully you will get the fees back when you open a claim but its just a pain in the arse. Get the impression ebay couldnt care less though.
