Its just a shame that the words 'vintage' & 'retro' have replaced the words old & second hand and the prices some of the sellers associate with those words

Only if I can surreptitiously snap one off with my cell phone...my wife is rather camera shy when it comes to posing in her raincoats.

The German army transparent cape is a great value, even at 10 quid. Stateside there were a couple surplus stores that carried them. They are actually quite practical for a number of reasons, plus a nice heavy plastic. A couple I got were especially shiny and stiffer, which is my preference. But they are a nice cape for traditional purposes as well. I think I paid more like five or six dollars each for the ones I got. They are quite long in length.
