Bill_P wrote:just got the red coat today (even at 20% off I couldn't afford to splurge on both the red & the navy, and the wife already has a navy slicker anyway), and it is AWESOME! Can't wait for her to try it on...supposed to rain tomorrow so it may get "baptized" right away!
Do we get photos then?? lol lol

ASOS is a good source for Macs
https://marketplace.asos.com/search?q=m ... s&oss_ss=1
Its just a shame that the words 'vintage' & 'retro' have replaced the words old & second hand and the prices some of the sellers associate with those words
Some nice images though

Only if I can surreptitiously snap one off with my cell phone...my wife is rather camera shy when it comes to posing in her raincoats.

The German army transparent cape is a great value, even at 10 quid. Stateside there were a couple surplus stores that carried them. They are actually quite practical for a number of reasons, plus a nice heavy plastic. A couple I got were especially shiny and stiffer, which is my preference. But they are a nice cape for traditional purposes as well. I think I paid more like five or six dollars each for the ones I got. They are quite long in length.
