Those look rather sexy. I like the red one.

And, remember that if you're from Texas or elsewhere outside the EU, you don't pay VAT.

My wife has 2, one in black PVC and one in lilac!

Same here - no spokesman for Rainmac but have visited their store in Midhurst & they have a great range of macs / coats.
As you say their "retro" range are nice & 1/6th the price, plus they mail out across the world

As a lucky owner of a selection of glossy and matte Rukkas I can understand the frenzy the really nice 1s go for. Mason is right, the yellow is the 1 to have (though he didn't mention shiny black) as it looks and feels fabulous (pic from a photoshoot earlier this year was in the pictures & videos section) Rainmacs raincoats are indeed wonderful but are not the same. And if they don't make 'em anymore then you can't buy 'em anymore, hence the prices?

Am off to weigh my yellow rukka and check the gold price

How long before there's a 'Cash For Rukkas' shop on every high street :D

I got a pair of Rukka rain trousers off E bay for £9.99 plus postage about three months ago!

I bidded on a beautiful yellow Rukka (with belt) early last year. I plonked $900 on the table and waited for the e-bay clock to tick over. It wasn't enough. $900 and I didn't win it. I couldn't believe it. I reckon that any glossy yellow Rukka would cost a lot more than that now, especially larger sizes you can actually wear. Mine is a size 42 and I wear it all the time when it's wet.

Guess what ....

The 605 pound raincoat is back on the auction block: seems the buyer got cold feet after winning the auction. Selfish prick. Why bother bid if you know you're not going to pay for it?

It's almost like the selfish kid syndrome. I'll make sure that no one else can have it if i can't?
