Thanks for the info, I've been trying in vain for years to get a pair of yellow Hunter Originals in my size (US Mens' 12/UK 11). Just placed an order at http://www.targetwholesale.co.uk/hunter ... ap-1-c.asp Oddly enough, when I order wellies from zappos.com the Hunters are usually $125 USD with free shipping. From target wholesale, shipping from the UK, the total came to only $137.40 USD - totally worth it in my book!wellies4 wrote:They do hunters for wide legs in all sorts of colours (http://www.hunter-boot.com/2/36/Shop-On ... dTruecalfs) I have a pair of these in red and they are really comfortable, they are doing pretty well all the colours upto size 9 now and aubergine, red and yellow right upto 12. I have navy red baby pink fushia lilac aubergine (ware these out all the time) so far but hopefully more to come if any one has a colourful pair of size 8s they want to get rid of I will always give them a home
Also, for all the criticism leveled at Hunter since they outsourced production to China, I've found one benefit, which is the calves on the Originals are actually much wider now. My first pair (Scottish-made, with the old logo) I bought in a US 12 I had to exchange for a 13 because while the foot fit great the calf was too narrow to tuck my pants in, while the 13 was wide enough in the calf, but too big in the footbed. Whereas the newer Chinese-made boots I can get in my true size & they fit like a glove.
