All this discussion on when to wear rainwear and last night in The Repair Shop (BBC1) a lady came to collect her item that had been renovated and she was wearing a 3/4 length green shiny cost - I am sure some of you will know it was from Topshop etc.
But she found it natural to wear on TV
Link for those that can get the iPlayer. The Repair Shop, Series 6: Episode 10: www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/m000rq8w via @bbciplayer

It is the last item on the programme - the last 10 minutes

Thanks for the heads up but I'm a bit mystified by the comment

"But she found it natural to wear on TV"

Why wouldn't she find it natural to wear a raincoat available from a high street retailer

I know we dont see many raincoats on the high street or on TV but there's nothing unnatural about someone wearing one, if anything its more unnatural to have a fetish about raincoats

I was emphasising the point that wearing a PVC mac from a high Street retailer was nothing strange .
I have a unisex PUL mac which I wear when appropriate, the same as waterproofs for car washing, power washing the yard.
But some on here seem afraid to venture past their front door wearing PVC for some reason

No, a Mac can make the perfect robe to sleep in, especially if it’s made of glossy PVC.
