In the Finnish language we have two proverbs which very effectively work against the good habit of wearing proper attire:
" You aren't made of sugar, are you?" stating that it doesn't matter if you get wet, you won't get dissolved in that rain.
"The summer dries up what it wets" meaning if you get wet during the summer, the sun will soon make you dry again.
I hate these silly proverbs. My favorite is
" There aren't bad weathers, there are just unsuitable clothings"

Always liked that last comment- There is no such thing as bad weather, only unsuitable clothing... In fact, I would vote to have that as the group motto, and put in the header!

Then there are those of us who like wearing rainwear as unsuitable clothing in hot sunny weather LOL!
