How and when did your fetish begin?

For me I am pretty sure it all started when I was little and made to wear plastic pants and sleep with plastic or rubber sheets as a bed wetter. So I don’t recall the details specifically, just that I have always been a lover of soft plastic, but also PVC and anything shiny. But I do remember having a thing for a girl when I was about 11 - she was way out of my league. She went into hospital to have her appendix out, and I remember seeing her chatting with others who had also had operations. I had never had an operation and for a while I so wanted to have to go to hospital and find a common ground with that girl, that I developed a fetish. I started eating anything with seeds that I would not normally have in the hope of getting appendicitis and having to go to hospital. Thankfully the fetish didn’t last, but I can see how desires can be made from situations where some things stick and become a part of us for the rest of our lives.

Not sure how old I was but I used to like standing outside in the rain with my coat on feeling protected and safe, so much so I used to go out when it rained, and at some point I had one of those nylon parkas which went shiny with the rain on them. So as I got older my love of shiny wet things developed into a love of pvc, leather and other shiny materials.

Somewhere along the line it changed from me enjoying wearing coats to wanting to see women wearing pvc and rainwear in particular. And I think because of the way it accentuates the female shape the belted mac/trenchcoat in pvc became my absolute favourite.

As I got even older I guess I accepted that I wasn't going to find anyone who would wear it for me, so over the last decade I have started photographing models wearing it.

Have you ever thought of wearing one yourself? I'm a man too and I do it sometimes and it's so good!

I am a man and from time to time I like to wear a vinyl mac in my bedroom together with other vinyl or (p)leather clothing. I have also accepted that I will probably never find a nice woman, let alone one who will wear vinyl or latex for me. By wearing it myself I can still enjoy these clothes and materials. It works for me!

Chance would be a fine thing these days! A bit too wimpish back in the day to have taken it much beyond the kind of warmed bottom one got at school -with the welcome addition of some plastic/leather. I suspect that finding someone who can readily accommodate one's particular level of interest is, through the internet, a bit easier than it used to be.

@ PVC Rainwearlover : Indeed, i fully agree. I also realized, that in the late 60ies, early 70ies many ladies bought shiny raincoats in every colour you can imagine. It was like a parade, in front of the schools, when some mummies brought their girls into school when it was raining. Even the ladies and their daughters had sometimes the same raincoats. I can remember a mum from a girl living next to me, that they both had the same raincoats : A in small ladies size and a larger girls size. The raincoats were red, had a collar, were very shiny, no lining, and had a matching hood. And they both were proud, and even talked about to otherss that they were perfectly protected against the rain. Their red raincoats had a white trim on the coat and on the rainhat, too. And talso white pockets. The vinyl had such a strong PVC smell / aroma, and they were very squeeky and were rustling when worn. I recall that I one day when izt was raining heyvily, the mum even had a brollie with her, with a red trim. SO imagine : Mum and daughter, both were shiny, PVC unlined raincoats, matching rain hats, and having a brollie, too. What a wonderful sighting. And theyx even talked aacbout that they planned to go to C&A and wanted to purchase a second one in navy blue, just for fashion reasons ! I was so attracted at that time by the sighting of the shiny PVC raincoats, that my fetish for shiny unlined ladies raincoats started to increase. I then took every opportunity to go into the city center, when it was raining, and I was watching a lot of ladies / girls wearing their PVC raincoats. And since the racks of the shops were full with PVC rainwear in early 70ies, I watched so many mummies and daughters trying on raincoats, before they actually bought them. What a wonderful time then..

Good evening. In 1982, I was riding a HONDA CB 350, I was riding in all weathers. I had a 2-piece set in black Pvc, very flexible, very shiny on the inside, satin vinyl look on the outside. It was a pleasure to put on this outfit which was very comfortable rain or not. I stopped using it when it was no longer my size!
Today, I ride a BMW R100RS, I found the same kind of outfit, still as comfortable. I still get the same pleasure from wearing it.

I already told in another post about my first experiences with my raincoat fetish, I must have been 10 or 12 years old.
But an older memory came back to me, I must have been 6 or 7 years old, I was on holiday by the sea with my uncle, my aunt and several cousins. One afternoon it was raining heavily, my cousin 2 years older and I went for a walk in the rain. My cousin had a khaki raincoat, I didn't have a raincoat. I borrowed from a cousin, almost my age and build, her very shiny yellow raincoat. During the walk in the dunes, I had a strange impression. I will understand later that this was my first erection. This didn't happen to me for a few years.

Good morning.
After rereading, I noticed some errors.
First of all, he was a cousin who had a khaki raincoat.
