Hi Vixxy,

There are a couple of things I couldn't help picking up on in your comments.

Firstly, you don't need to use other companies to offer cheaper postage, having used Royal Mail to post raincoats around the UK from my ebay dealings I know that 1st class recorded is a perfectly acceptable service and would only cost half the £8 you seem to be paying for what I can only assume is nnext day special delivery.

Secondly, these are raincoats, what on earth is 'specialised' about them? they are merely peices of PVC designed to prevent you getting soaked in the rain, the only time a raincoat could be described as specialist is when the Chinese factory it's made in print a designer label on it.

There are a couple of other little points too, if you are the MD of the company, why would you need to order one of these jackets for 'research purposes'? and if you've a member of this forum then I'm pretty sure you'll be aware of what kinds of pleasure PVC and rubber rainwear can gives as it's been explained many times in many threads on here.

I feel I must step in and explain some basic postage information so we are not perceived to be robbing our customers.

The postage of the long rain jacket packaged safely and correctly will cost us approximately £8 Royal Mail Tracked. Many customers order much more than this to justify the postage...we have to subsidise the cost of that and we do so every day. If we charged customers what it actually cost us to send out the parcels I don't think anyone would actually order. We DO NOT make on postage, WE LOSE on postage everyday. You team that with a 20% discount and I feel that we are actually generous to our customers.

What would it cost you to drive to your nearest specialist store to buy a specialist item? Value for money, yes I actually think it is ;)

Their postage is £3.99 (capped) for UK mainland, so you can order as many as you like!!
They will ship worldwide if you as ask them for a shipping price.

Vixxy,

Just to add my own take on clear pvc raincoats (like the ones you sell, and hopefully i'll be ordering) the feeling as the smooth shiny plastic slides across bare skin, first cold, then warming and then actually moulding and enveloping the limbs and body is very sensual.

Or maybe that's just me!!!

That wasnt rude at all

1) you have to understand the volume of business, you post on one of occurances, yes?

2) These raincoats are manufactured by an equestrian brand. They are specialist in the point they are aimed at a specialisted market, for a purpose of horse riders.

3) She has just joined (look at join date), and an MD usually orders in a small number of items of stock a) to test the market and b) to check suitability/quality
