Does anyone remember a weather girl on either Channel 4 or 5 there used to be an early morning weather girl who broadcast from the top of the TV station building and when appropriate wore different items of rainwear

Carol Kirkwood used to broadcast from the roof of the BBC in Central London wearing a few different coloured raincoats when it was wet. But it was on BBC Breakfast quite a few years ago.

Although I wouldn't want it to change it seems strange that the TV companies seem to favour cheap (not quite disposable) rainwear rather than something more substantial especially when they go to the efforft of having their logo on it - long may it continue
