I still havent watched enough plastic rainwear on the big and small screen im got a fetish where i watch every tv series episodes or films and hope theres plastic rainwear shown through the scenes but 80percent of time theres no plastic rainwear atall makes me sad when i have a day i dont see any plastic rainwear id love to find more episodes of a tv series or movie where theres plastic rainwear being worn

Beth, I think we have all been in a similar position. Years ago, before video recorders, a sighting could not be repeated. The only way to guarantee to see it again was via adverts so far me the breaks where times when I definately wasn't making tea! Eventually I ended up with a small TV in my bedroom, so tried some "private" viewing. To this day I remember the following:

A Radio Rentals ad involving women dancing nylon suits. Half were red and half white. I knew the colours for when the ad played on our colour set in the living room.

Ocean Spray cranberry juice ad with a family in which the mother was wearing a pale blue plastic rain jacket.

I spent too much time "hoping" for sightings and like you was disappointed when I didn't see them (far too often) and alas none of them were ever long enough for full fun if you know what I mean. The advent of the VCR was great and I would sit up late when everyone had gone to bed recording crass programmes which might contain plastic sightings such as The Word, Rapido and one hosted by Dvina McCall in which I found an audience member shown several times in a dress which had clear plastic panels down the side - so you could see her full nude body under the plastic, but alas none of the naughty bits.

I actually found one of the videos and it wasn't Radio Rentals but Granada. The appearances are brief and very tame by today's standard of what you can find on the net, but we had to take what little pleasure we could back then! Also I am sure the quality wasn't so bad back then, you can barely recognise any shininess here...

there is currently an advert on tv by / for the RNIB featuring a coloured blind girl , in which she asks alexa the time and then asks what the weather is doing , and she is told " light rain " we then get glimpses of her putting on a mac and going outdoors with her guide dog . the mac is mid - thigh length and obviously double texture , turn the sound up as she puts on her mac and enjoy the sound of the material
