Deleting Messages Problem

Has anyone else tried to delete messages in the last few days...my inbox and sent messages are building up...and If I tick them ,select delete at the bottom , of the page ,and press go....all I get is a message 'invalid form submitted '. If everyone is suffering this, then the site memory will clog up pretty quickly.
