'A Chorus of Disapproval' (1989) - in HD. Actress Jenny Seagrove wearing a nice metallic silvery-grey PVC mac. I've seen a couple of grainy clips from this film in the past but now courtesy of Flick Vault we have the whole film in something close to high-definition. Jenny can be seen wearing the mac between 15'-31" and 18'-06". Enjoy!

I suppose it could have been but it looks so much like other macs made by Mandy Marsh

Hi Bossali. Yes, you could be right there. Mandy Marsh macs were very much in vogue around that time - Audrey Roberts (played by Sue Nicholls) used to wear a Mandy Marsh mac (long black one) in episodes of Coronation Street around 1989 to 1992. Her mac was a similar style but had wrist straps. Spitfire617 has mentioned Dannimac and I wouldn't rule that one out either - they made a lot of metallic PVC macs around that time. I suppose we'll never know for sure....

I certainly wouldn't rule that out - they made a lot of nice metallic PVC macs around that time. Seem to remember you could buy them at Debenhams.

I certainly wouldn't rule that out - they made a lot of nice metallic PVC macs around that time. Seem to remember you could buy them at Debenhams.

I bought my ex wife one.
In Blue with like a flur de leys pattern that came from Debenhams Christmas 1988 for the price of £99!

Yeas there were several styles, my wife had two Mandy Marsh mac and i knew a model who had several I photographed at the time, Bet Gilroy had a leopard print mac she wore. You could buy them at Debenhams, Watt Brothers in Glasgow, and a couple of local fashion shops

Was just below knee length and bought as a christmas present. And was never worn!
