Hi all...

I remember there was a map of the UK somewhere where people could pin sites where you can get muddy, but you could also leave a message saying what to look out for, type of mud etc...I had it bookmarked a while ago but after changing computers I can't find this map anywhere to bookmark it again...

Does anyone know what I'm on about or have I gone completely insane?

As someone who likes wearing rainwear and getting muddy I've never encountered this site but a look at a large scale map can reveal some worthwhile places for mud.

After the o.p. I did try searching for this map but to no avail. The site must have been deleted. I have a couple of favourite places I can go, but way too cold at this time of year.

I started working on something similar for the Muddy Boots & Rainwear group on Yahoo, for my favourite mud places in Essex. I ought to finish it.
