Reading a fairly innocuous article on the BBC then happened across Ina Klassen (scroll down), who woke up, checked her wardrobe, and decided silver PVC joggers were the right thing to be worn to work…

I love casual wearing of PVC (although they could be some other material as the images are not huge) as a sort of “I’ll just pop on something shiny shall I” thought!

Thanks for that Hotwilly. I think they are PVC but difficult to tell, even when she was standing up, the camera was too far away.

Others to watch: Sky Max Never Mind the Buzzcocks. Episode 7 Desiree Burch in very tight PVC leggings, if you like a big girl then definitely watch. Episode 1 had a nice girl (sorry forgot name) in shiny black PVC jeans. BBC Mock the Week Episode 7 Ria Lina in leatherette trousers. And tonight’s Strictly Come Dancing has Tilly Ramsey in shiny leggings. Seems like PVC trousers might be a current fashion - hopefully!

I concur that video is a good find. My guess from the small clips is that the leggings are common polyurethane coated Lycra. It doesn’t look like latex or a PVC coating.

Those rainjeans from the last video are quite pricey but they look very practical and stylish.

Been on holyday recently where a lot of faux leather, plastic coated and vinyl leggings and jeans could be seen. Even some in shiny vinyl !
And there was a female Asian tourist in an elegant and stylish outfit that included a shiny vinyl shirt dress !
