It is indeed - it's also a wonderful acting performance from a then (very young) Leslie Ash - I thought she was just superb!

Adore the way she wears the sleeves pushed up her arms, lovely mac and a lovely girl.

Yes mate, that is nice. You're right too, she is a lovely girl and I thought her acting performance in that episode - when still very young - was excellent.

No rainwear but an early appearance by Lesley Manville too. I remember sitting on a train opposite a woman who was wearing a similar rainjacket and noticing the beads of perspiration forming on the inside of her un-rolled up sleeves as the journey progressed.

Yes, I noticed Lesley Manville's name in the end credits when I was checking up to see if 'Maureen' was played by Leslie Ash. Early performances for both actresses. I think Lesley Manville is a few years old than Leslie Ash.
