'De Kassière' (Dutch drama film from 1989). Marion Van Thijn wearing a shiny red PU mac and then a shiny black PU mac. I put up a trailer clip for this film back in April 2020 as that was all I could find at the time. I have now managed to find a good quality link to the film showing Marion wearing a shiny red PU mac in 5 scenes and a shiny black PU mac in a 6th scene. Timings: 1 hr 06'-35" to 1 hr 07'-30", 1 hr 11'-04" to 1 hr 12'-03", 1 hr 14'-03" to 1 hr 14'-48", 1 hr 17'-30" to 1 hr 20'-35", 1 hr 26'-29" to 1 hr 35'-51", 1 hr 36'-58" to the end of the film. Enjoy!

Yet another great find mate. I recall that the theme music from this film was made into a music video by Dave Stewart (of the Eurythmics) and Dutch saxophonist Candy Dulfer. The video featured clips from the film, including glimpses of the PVC macs.

Cheers Bill! Aye, I remember that music video - sure I've got it downloaded somewhere. Yeah, there are glimpses of the macs in it and also in the trailer clip that has been on You Tube for a fair while. Glad that I was able to find (eventually!) a link to the whole film as there are plenty of nice mac scenes in it.

In the rest of the world the movie was known as "Lily was here". It was even mentioned on this forum already.
Hi mate! Aye, I know the English title of the film is 'Lily Was Here'. I prefer to use the original title of movies when I post anything on here though. That said, I usually put the English title up too when I know it (forgot to on this occasion though!).

Why does noodle magazine have best quality I never dreamed I would see this film so clearly I own red and black macs bit shorter than the two in film
They just seem to be more ahead of the game than You Tube and Daily Motion. You can often go onto the Noodle Magazine site looking for a film and find 2 or 3 uploads of it (different quality but often one is an HD version). There are far more DVD HD rips on Noodle Magazine than you find on either You Tube or Daily Motion. The uploads on the latter sites regularly being VHS/TV rips that were often uploaded years and years ago. Apart from Noodle Magazine the quality is more often than not better quality on OK.RU than either You Tube or Daily Motion too. I know peeps like You Tube links so they can download them easily but I always go for quality when putting links up. You can STILL download from OK.RU and Noodle Magazine - although downloaders are not as easy to come by.

They're both nice macs Beth - you're lucky to have two like those.
