'Redcap' (Series 2 - Episode 12: 'The Proper Charlie') from 1966. Diane Aubrey (playing the part of Mrs Ringwold) wearing a shiny floral-patterned PVC mac in 4 scenes. Lovely mac - would be great to see it in colour. Enjoy!

Another great find RB. Great mac - very 60’s.

I remember those floral macs and the short white boots, it would be happy days indeed if they became fashionable again.

Cheers Bill - glad you enjoyed the clip! I was very pleased when I found it - it really is a lovely mac that Diane is wearing. Yes - very 60's as you say!
PS - I have not downloaded the episode to my PC as yet but once I have done so I'll take a few stills and then try to colourise them - see how they turn out. With colourisation it's all a bit hit and miss - some turn out OK and some are just a load of old tripe. I really would like to know what the predominant colour of the mac is so hopefully the colourisation will at least reveal that.

Hi RB. I seem to remember the floral PVC macs being quite “pastel” colours - pinks and greens. I seem to recall a photo of 60’s model Jean Shrimpton (The Shrimp) wearing a gorgeous floral PVC mac. I’ll see if I can find it. Keep up the great work. Cheers Bill

Hi Bill! I thought I had that pic you mention where Jean Shrimpton is wearing a nice floral PVC mac but I can't find it amongst my saved stuff - just one of her in a red PVC mac and another where she is wearing a glassclear vinyl mac. Would love to see it if you manage to find it mate. Cheers! RB.
