'Skylark' (US film from 1941). Claudette Colbert wearing 2 different macs - one (plastic/PVC/rubber?) and the other rubber. In the first scene you can also see quite a number of ladies wearing plastic and rubber macs as they pass by in the background at an underground station.
1st scene: 35'-16" to 40'-04", 2nd scene: 1 hr 22'-18" to 1 hr 28'-52".

Cheers Tiefdruckgebiet - glad you enjoyed it. :) Yeah, I LOVE the first scene where you see lots of people in the background in a variety of rubber and plastic macs. Reminds me of an old Czech film: Tři-Přání (Three Wishes). It is on here somewhere - well worth checking out for the wonderful mac scenes near the beginning of the film. Paradise on earth! :)

Hell yeah, never seen so many mac'ed people (male and female) in a movie! I think we see some background artists again and again (it's a movie set) but no matter it looks like a mackintosh paradise :D
Film on YT in excellent quality: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2PRORboJ-IA
