'Le Mans' (US film from 1971). A number of extras wearing shiny red, yellow and black PVC macs in 5 scenes. There are other rainwear scenes too in the film - just that these are the main ones I've picked out. Enjoy! :)
Timings: (1) A lady in a yellow PVC mac: 43'-50" to 44'-01", (2) A lady in a red PVC mac: 49'-46" to 49'-48", (3) Two ladies in red PVC macs: 56'-37" to 56'-53", (4) Two ladies in PVC macs - 1 red, 1 black: 57'-38" to 57'-46", (5) A lady in a superb long yellow PVC mac: 59'-15" to 59'-22".

I have that movie on dvd. There are several scenes around the races and it's wet. You see several people in good old pvc rainwear typical for those days. It's a pleasure to watch and you get "I wish I could turn back time" thoughts :-P

Very enjoyable if a little frustrating that these glimpses are just that. My favourite is No 5) partly because the camera lingers on her for longer and it makes a change to see a mac draped around the shoulders. Love the shine and yellow is less common than other colours. My thought then is where did she go? I want to see more of her. Presumably these women are 'extras' but oh my what a lovely sight.

Thought it was time for something a little different Beth! :) PS - I wonder if there are any scenes from the 70s of ladies wearing shiny PVC macs at the Tour De France? Will have to have a look....

I've seen this movie before. I love how there's lots of wet raincoats and rain suits scenes for about 20 minutes of the movie.

I also recall the 2013 racing 'Rush' movie having wet rainwear scenes, thought I don't remember the details.
