ZDF (TV station in Germany) - entertainment programme with everyone dressed in shiny PVC and plastic macs! I remember seeing a short clip from this programme many years ago - it may even have been on here. A couple of days ago whilst looking for something completely different I came across 4 clips from the programme - and here they are:

A few questions translated:

He is been asked why he collects rainwear.
His answer is: A woman looks more attractive !
Some women wear shiny raincoats to attract attention !
The collector says he's got about 400 raincoats and raincapes !

The very shiny black PVC mac the bloke is wearing is very much like PUL's new material.

I take it that this show was from the 1990s?

It is sad that PVC rainwear is not so commonly seen these days.

The 80s and 90s were better times. And not just for PVC reasons.

He is definitely a PVC enthusiast!

Nice to see the ladies enjoying the PVC rainwear, too. Including those two ladies modelling those clear PVC trench-style coats and clear umbrellas. You can tell that the ladies are enjoying the rainwear.

I love the display of macs everywhere there's many plastic macs to try on this is a programme like no other which has put plastic macs at the heart of it

She did not comment on what she's wearing,
but she asks the bloke about the raincoat she wears
and he says it is actually rainfashion.
That means to me, she has no experience, is just the moderator of the show.
Most other coats in the show are from 1940s, he says.
There are a lot of dialogues I'd like to translate,
this takes it's time
