nice vid, but you could tell by the audience reaction that the raincoat was part of the bit.
it seems every time a raincoat is shown in a sit com its over done, and not part of everyday use.
not just this clip, but from Topper in the 50s to the Sunny in Philadelphia episode a couple of weeks ago with the yellow rain suit.
what I would like to see is just normal every day usage, on a regular basis. Guys started wearing cut-offs because of Flipper, girls because of the Dukes of Hazzard.
if a character wore a slicker week after week it would make a difference, There was a program called Life Unexpected, rained nearly every week, and all jean jackets and hoodies.
